In fact, we just finished our 10 books to read in 2017 list. Or at least 10 books that you can start the new year with.
«Dream a Little Dream» Kerstin Gier.
Liv's dreams have been super weird lately. An insane girl with a hatched, mysterious doors with lizard knobs, talking statues, four boys conducting a dark ritual in a graveyard.
The strangest thing is that she knows the four boys in her real life. They are her classmates in her new school. They know stuff about her that they couldn't possibly know... unless they actually are in her dream.

A gothic style retelling of Phantom of the Opera. We have huge expectations for this one. A.G. Howard never disappointed us before (Splintered series! Oh my...!) so we expect from her another amazing book. RoseBlood will bve published on January, 10 so hurry and order.

«The Bear and the Nightingale» Katherine Arden.
An amazing fairy tale based on Russian folklore. Get a cup of coffee, get cozy next to the fireplace and read this book. It is magical. If you don't believe me, go check the reviews. The fans of the Slavic folklore will be surprised in a good way by this debut novel.
«The Monday Girl» Julie Johnson.
The Monday Girl is a realistic contemporary book and is definitely a heavy read. It's about a girl trapped between her dream of acting career and dating losers from a web app. A heartbreaking and moving first part of a duet. The second book is coming out on February 1st.
«Blackhearts» Nicole Castroman.
We all know about the famous pirate, Black Beard, right? Well, this time the story isn't about him. It's about the woman who captured his heart and set him on his path to destruction. An amazing story full of romance, scandal and love.
«All the Breaking Waves» Kerry Lonsdale.
An exploration of love, motherhood and secrets. This book is a story of a woman who realizes she must be strong and confront her past, her guilt and fight to save her daughter. I strongly recommend this novel to all the single mothers out there.
«Long May She Reign» Rhiannon Thomas
The people that loved The Girl of Fire and Thorns and The Queen of the Tearling will love this book too.
It's a story about a girl that becomes queen. She never wanted to be a queen. She was 23rd in the line for the throne and she much rather would spend her days in her laboratory. Everything changes for her when the king and his closest people are poisoned. Now she has to take the crown and do everything to survive.
